If you use the Site on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. No professional relationship

Your use of the Site does not create any mechanic-client, legal, fiduciary, advisory, or other professional relationship between you and Drivers Advice.

5. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content, features, and materials are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

7. Safety-critical issues

If you suspect a vehicle safety issue, warning-light condition, brake problem, tire failure risk, overheating issue, or any other potentially dangerous fault, stop driving as soon as it is safe to do so and seek appropriate professional or emergency assistance.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site if we reasonably believe misuse is occurring.

9. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, page design, downloadable resources, and original images, is owned by Drivers Advice or used under license and is protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws.

You may:

10. Downloads and printable resources

We may offer downloads such as PDFs, checklists, worksheets, or templates.

Unless we explicitly state otherwise, these downloads are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

We do not guarantee that downloads will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device or use case. You are responsible for determining whether a download is appropriate for your needs.

11. Third-party links and services

The Site may include links to third-party websites, tools, services, product pages, government resources, or manufacturer pages.

We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, terms, or services.

A link to a third-party website does not necessarily mean that we endorse that website, business, or product unless we explicitly say so.

12. Advertising and affiliate relationships

Drivers Advice may earn revenue through:

  • advertising, including interest-based advertising where permitted
  • affiliate links, where we may earn a commission if you purchase through a qualifying link

Where a disclosure is required to prevent deception, the FTC says the disclosure must be clear and conspicuous.

We aim to disclose affiliate relationships clearly where relevant. Advertising or affiliate participation does not guarantee that any product, service, or brand is recommended, endorsed, or suitable for your needs.

Your use of third-party ads, links, and merchant sites is at your own risk.

For more information about how advertising technologies may collect data, please review our Privacy Policy.

13. Comments and user-generated content

If comments or other user-submission features are enabled:

  • you remain responsible for the content you post
  • you must not post unlawful, defamatory, hateful, abusive, infringing, misleading, or spam content
  • we may moderate, remove, edit, or disable submissions at our discretion
  • user-generated content does not necessarily reflect our views

By submitting content where such features are enabled, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Site, subject to applicable law.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy:
https://driversadvice.com/privacy-policy

Google’s AdSense help says publishers using Google products and services must have and abide by a privacy policy that clearly discloses relevant data collection, sharing, and usage practices.

15. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Drivers Advice and its owners, editors, contributors, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the Site
  • your violation of these Terms
  • your violation of applicable law
  • your violation of any rights of another person or entity

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the security or integrity of the Site.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute-related provisions.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site after revised Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If you want the clearest version here, use a real jurisdiction such as:

  • England and Wales
  • the State of California, USA

Do not leave this blank when publishing.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or policies posted on the Site, form the entire agreement between you and Drivers Advice regarding your use of the Site, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
